Alison has turned her passion for beautiful interiors into a hugely successful enterprise. She is an interiors expert, entrepreneur, author, TV presenter and founder and CEO of online brand alisonathome.com.

She was already a successful broadcaster and writer about interior design when she started designing products herself in 2012. Ayear she launched her own online interiors collection which features stylish and affordable homeware.

Alison still writes weekly interiors columns for several national newspapers including The Daily Telegraph, Times, Guardian, Observer, Independent and Evening Standard. She has presented various TV programme including Cowboy Builders, Secret Removers, Home In The Country, Don’t Move Improve, and Get The Look For Less.

In 2014, Alison launched her brand on the home shopping channel QVC and in 2017 she began a collaboration with online bathroom company Victorian Plumbing.

Alison founded The National Women’s Enterprise Network (NWEN) in 2017 to support and encourage women throughout the UK to start their own business. She has been an ambassador for PRIME (The Prince’s Initiative for Mature Enterprise). In 2020, she became an Ambassador for the British Library Business & IP Centre to help them establish a Business and IP Centre in every library in the UK by 2030.
