USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Arif led several initiatives for the greater good in the past 12-15 years that inspired hundreds of thousands and built bridges across the divide.
He managed to raise millions of pounds for charitable work that benefited several communities, through volunteering, training and leadership mentoring.
Arif’s biggest contribution is launching the One Million Meals campaign in the UK at the end of March 2020 to provide free meals to serve the NHS staff, keyworkers, and vulnerable people facing the food crisis. By the 30 June 2020, One Million Meals managed to serve more than 207 locations in England, Wales and Scotland in three months. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson honoured and recognised the ‘One Million Meals’ campaign through the Points of Light Award on 13 May 2021.
Arif was honoured by the City of London Corporation as a Freeman at a ceremony held at the Chamberlain Court of the Guild Hall on the 7th of April 2022. Arif’s services were acknowledged by the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III, and Prince William of Wales. He was awarded the Brain of the Year award in 2020 by the Brain Trust.
