Brent Hoberman CBE is a renowned British entrepreneur, investor and advocate for innovation in technology and business. He has founded numerous successful ventures including lastminute.com during the dot-com boom in 1998 and made.com in 2010. More recently, he is the co-founder and executive chairman of Founders Factory, a global venture studio and accelerator; Founders Forum, an influential tech community; and firstminute capital, a $320 million seed fund backed by over 120 unicorn founders. His businesses have collectively raised over $1 billion, with Founders Factory alone helping over 300 portfolio companies secure $1 billion in follow-on funding since its inception. His vision is to be the most impactful co-founder for early-stage founders, using capital and expertise to help back entrepreneurs. Beyond his entrepreneurial efforts, Brent has served in prominent advisory and leadership roles including on the boards of Google Cloud, The Tessa Jowell Foundation, the UK Government Digital Service and the World Economic Forum Digital Europe Group. He has also advised four UK prime ministers. He was awarded a CBE for services to entrepreneurship, recognising his transformative contributions to innovation and business.
