Gordon Phillips is an entrepreneur and philanthropist who supports the elderly, the sick, the vulnerable, the young and the underprivileged. He is the founder and chair of Bramley Health, a care home and hospital group based in the South of England. Set up in 1996, Bramley Health is a fast-growing business and one of the few healthcare providers that has specialist units for neurocognitive disorders, acquired brain injuries, personality disorders and acute services. In 2017, he set up the Phillips Educational Foundation to fund his charitable ventures that mainly focus on helping disadvantaged children get access to a better education. The charities he supports includes the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards, The Prince’s Trust, a computer reading tool for underprivileged children called Self Learn Read and Spell, and ambulances for Ukraine. He is also a sponsor and chair of trustees of Knole Academy in Kent. He played a leading role in the rebuilding of a failing school that reopened as Knole Academy in 2010.
