Jamie is a prominent social entrepreneur and co-founder of Too Good To Go, an app which has prevented over 250 million meals from being thrown away since its inception in 2016.

Wanting to address the staggering volume of food waste produced on a daily basis, and with a desire to make cheap meals more accessible for the general public, the idea for Too Good To Go was born.

Jamie’s app allows users to connect with nearby cafes, restaurants, bakeries, shops and market vendors in order to collect surplus meals and produce at a cut-down price.

To date, Too Good To Go has gathered a community of over 75 million users and 140,000 different businesses in 17 countries across Europe and North America. Under Jamie’s leadership, the app has stopped over 250 million meals from going to waste.

Jamie’s dedication to tackling food waste has seen him earn well-deserved recognition from a number of different organisations over the years.

In 2019, he was included in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for Europe, while in 2021, Forbes’ listed Jamie as a Trailblazing Activist among the 50 Best Names for the future of Gastronomy. Jamie was also chosen by the Obama foundation to take part in the Leaders Europe programme.
