Kentaro Kawamori is the co-founder and CEO of Persefoni, a leading carbon footprint and sustainability reporting company that is at the cutting edge of climate software. Persefoni’s Climate Management & Accounting SaaS Platform is utilised by companies and financial institutions globally to gain precise insights into their climate impact and drive sustainability efforts. It can then come out with carbon footprint calculations which can be used for a variety of things like annual sustainability reports and investor disclosures. Under Kentaro’s leadership, the platform has pioneered tools such as the Enterprise Carbon Footprint Score, which provides industry-specific benchmarks and data-driven optimisation recommendations through advanced AI models. A serial entrepreneur, Kentaro also founded the enterprise software company Umbrage, which was acquired by Bain & Co.
