He is an inspirational leader and talented entrepreneur, over the last thirty years his company Focus Consultants has secured over £1 billion of grant aid and delivered £4.5 billion worth of programmes and projects, supporting 18,000 jobs. Examples include the £20 million project Aerospace Bristol, which is preserving heritage with innovation, and transformative developments like Leicester’s Cultural Quarter. He has used his best-practice placemaking methodologies to deliver major regeneration initiatives from Nottingham to Southampton, Eastbourne to Lincoln and beyond. Kevin has published actionable models and co-authored award-winning research on social value, sustainability and placemaking. He is also a public speaker, author, lecturer and mentor working to share best practice across the construction industry. As a dedicated philanthropist, Kevin has raised over £1 million for charities through challenges like climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m), Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and Mera Peak (6,476m), trekking across the Sahara Desert and running the London Marathon to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, despite having had six knee operations.
