Over the past 15 years, IncomeMax, his highly successful social enterprise, has revolutionised the way people access financial support, helping 140,000 households secure over £48 million in new income, and demonstrating the power of social enterprise to make a real difference. Employing 35 staff, he has established partnerships with leading companies such as Nationwide, British Gas Energy Trust, EDF, and Ovo Energy. Lee’s innovative spirit is exemplified by the development of MAX, an AI-powered chatbot designed to leverage the services provided by IncomeMax, allowing the organisation to scale its services, while maintaining its high levels of personalised care and support. As a champion of the social enterprise sector and advocate for fair treatment of the vulnerable, he serves on the advisory board of Martin Lewis’s Money & Mental Health Policy Institute (MMHPI), as an ambassador for the Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG) and as a member of EnergyUK’s Vulnerability Commitment advisory board.
