Mark Pearson

Mark Pearson is the founder and managing partner of Fuel Ventures, a leading technology investment fund that focuses on early and growth-stage companies. Operating through its SEIS and EIS funds, Fuel Ventures has made over 180 investments to date, focusing on sectors such as SaaS, marketplaces, e-commerce, fintech and platform-based businesses. Tennis ace Andy Murray was one of the early investors in Fuel Ventures through equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs. Mark has a proven track record of turning ideas into success stories. One of his notable ventures includes MyVoucherCodes, which he launched with an initial investment of £300. Remarkably, for three years the business operated from his bedroom, but was ultimately sold, along with its parent company, to Monitise plc for an impressive £55 million. He has been recognised with numerous awards including the Real Business Growing Business Awards “Young Entrepreneur of the Year,” the EY “Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year” and the Digital Entrepreneur Awards “Digital Entrepreneur of the Year.”
