In all his worthwhile and earnest projects, Mark Radcliffe has demonstrated steadfast devotion, enormous fortitude and generosity of spirit. His kindness, compassion and selflessness are exemplary. He freely offers his time and puts his heart and soul into assisting those in need without asking for anything in return.
Mark has devoted 14 years to the Wings for Warriors charity, managing all aspects of its operations including raising £2 million and training injured veterans to fly, pass their pilot exams and take up a role in the aviation industry. By March 2025, 30 disabled servicemen and women have had their lives turned around by Mark. By securing long-term, stable funding, Wings for Warriors now has its own authorised flying school that is expected to retrain more than 100 people to become commercial pilots over the next decade.
He has had a profound influence on the veteran’s community and has garnered huge respect for running a veterans’ charity that punches high above its weight. With the aviation industry short of pilots, Mark has given it a source of highly disciplined, well-trained and professional employees.
Mark is an unsung hero who has transformed the lives of hundreds of people across UK. His unselfish and dedicated actions have helped them to reach their full potential, increase their self-respect and get more out of life.
