Natasha Kaplinsky OBE has been a journalist and TV presenter, Strictly star, leading ambassador for Save the Children and a passionate campaigner for Barnardo’s. She was awarded the OBE for services to Holocaust Education and is also Chair of the Royal Ballet School, on the Board of the Science Museum and President of British Board of Film Classification. Her influence is phenomenal. She has worked extensively to support vulnerable and disadvantaged children for many charities and organisations for over two decades, and has been actively engaged across all four pillars of Save the Children’s work: to make sure all children get a healthy start in life, a decent education, are protected from violence and that families get the support they need to cope with crises. Fronting the global campaign ‘No Child Born to Die’, she helped to pressure international leaders and organisations to do more to prevent eight million child deaths a year, including by increasing access to vaccines and maternal and newborn care. Her work has made an enormous difference to children, charity staff and their volunteers.
