Peter is a seasoned non-executive director and chairman with a wealth of banking, finance industry and risk management expertise, developed during an illustrious career working in and with leading national and international organisations. Talented at thinking afresh and designing, building and implementing new ways of working, Peter revolutionised Barclays Bank’s approach to credit risk management by developing a revolutionary behavioural credit scoring system. Peter excelled from an early age. He was one of the youngest to qualify as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB).and was Barclays’ youngest ever corporate branch manager. At Barclays Peter lead an elite risk management task force to revolutionise the bank’s risk management approach and built Barclays first in-house corporate customer credit rating system. External recognition Peter gained a distinction in his MBA at Exeter University, came top of his student cohort and received a Dean’s Commendation for “special quality of work, originality of thought and exceptionally high standards”.  He won the British Telecom Institute of Financial Services ‘Innovation in Banking Award’ for his ‘behavioural scorecard’ work at Barclays and is regularly invited to deliver keynote presentations and be an expert panellist at major banking and finance industry events.
