Poppy Jaman OBE is a globally respected mental health advocate, social entrepreneur and policy advisor dedicated to driving sustainable change in workplace mental health and reducing stigma worldwide. She is the CEO of the City Mental Health Alliance (CMHA), a group of multinationals united to foster a culture of positive mental health and establish a global community driving change and challenging stigma. She is also the founding CEO of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) where she grew the organisation from a small government initiative into an independent, commercially successful Community Interest Company. This was recognised by the FT as one of the fastest growing SMEs in Europe. As the Global CEO of the MindForward Alliance, Poppy has championed transforming workplaces into environments that actively support mental well-being and created the world’s leading workplace mental health organisation. As a former board member of Public Health England, she played a pivotal role in developing the NHS Every Mind Matters platform and shaping public health policies. Her pivotal contributions have been acknowledged with numerous accolades, including an OBE in recognition of her outstanding achievements in the mental health sector, an honorary doctorate from the University of Gloucestershire and the Woman of the Year award at the GG2 Diversity & Leadership Awards. She has also been featured as a “game changer” in the Financial Times Women of 2019 List and on the 2022 Diversity Power List.
