Pragya is striving to alleviate the suffering of the 125 million people worldwide afflicted with skin diseases such as psoriasis and eczema through the company she founded, Gran Lab, which specialises in making steroid-free, colour-inclusive formulations to treat the symptoms of psoriasis and eczema.
Inspired by her psoriasis-suffering grandmother, Pragya’s mission is to help these people achieve healthy skin without compromising their overall well-being. As well as founding Gran Lab, she created Northern Ireland’s first community that empowers individuals with visible skin diseases and their caregivers, Radiant Resilience.
Pragya was named as a 2023 30 Under 30 Entrepreneur in Northern Ireland and has been shortlisted for the prestigious Young Business Person of the Year award.
She is committed to promoting employment and entrepreneurship among ethnic minority professionals and entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland and led EMEEN (Ethnic Minority Employees Entrepreneur Network).
Pragya founded IDEATE IRELAND, to provide entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and resources to expedite the early stages of venture development.
She is an Ambassador for the Institute of Directors (IoD) British Asian Business Community Group and chairs the student-led IoD committee at Queen’s University Belfast, where she is In the final year of her Structural Biochemistry PhD programme.
