Rob Tucker is a leading UK medical student who’s work on lobbying for improvements to the entry into the NHS for all 10,000 newly qualified doctors annually has received national press and achieved real change. He has led the education portfolio nationally for medical students and the Medical Students’ Committee overall for one of the strongest UK trade unions: The British Medical Association. As well as running the Barts and The London Students’ Association which is the oldest medical school students’ union in the country securing over £10 million to renovate the longest standing medical college building in the country: The Garrod Building. Rob has a keen interest in medical education presenting work on healthcare policy, student representation, and curriculum redesign. His work continues on engaging to solve further problems with career progression in the NHS and improving the expansion of medical training to improve the sustainability of UK healthcare.
