Sal Sinawi is the visionary founder of Wilder Fight Night & Wilder Experiences, Europe’s largest student-led charitable fundraising initiative. His powerful innovation has raised over £900,000 since 2021. From humble beginnings in Durham, to now operating in over 24 university locations, Wilder Fight Night has been a game-changer. His work has transformed philanthropy across UK and Irish universities by creating a powerful model that combines significant charitable impact with profound student empowerment. The initiative does more than raise money, it instils confidence, builds communities and cultivates leadership skills among students. He has pioneered a unique, student-executed model where participants receive free professional boxing training while fundraising for vital causes. Recognising the potential of his platform, Sal approached The OddBalls Foundation in 2021, a leading testicular cancer and mental health awareness charity. While The OddBalls Foundation remains Wilder Fight Night’s lead national charity partner, the initiative is also deeply committed to supporting causes that resonate within each university community. In Nottingham participants have raised funds in memory of a student Grace O’Malley Kumar, allowing her peers to channel their grief into meaningful action. In Portsmouth, another event took on a deeply personal mission, raising £13,325 to support Harry Magee, a student and former Fight Night Student Exec Member who suffered a life-changing spinal injury in 2023. Alongside the marquee Wilder Fight Night brand, across the last 12 months Sal launched another leading charity student initiative within Wilder Experiences – Wilder Fashion Shows. With the successful launch of the Loughborough Students Charity Fashion Show and now supporting Northumbria Uni Charity Fashion Show, Sal and Wilder offers support for a creative fundraising outlet that allows students to raise money for fantastic causes through black tie charity showpieces. LSCFS raised an incredible £8,000 on its inaugural year in 2025 with ambitious aims to double that and more in 2026.
