Simon Wingfield

Simon Wingfield is an accomplished leader and consultant with a wealth of experience drawn from decades of working with premier global brands such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco, BP, Mondelez and Shell. In 2022, Simon founded Wingfield Consultants Ltd, a management consultancy that supports organisations to grow and prosper. His impact is rooted in his belief that “doing good is good business,” a philosophy he integrates into Wingfield Consultants’ business model, balancing 80% paying clients with 20% pro bono work to uplift local communities, charities and enterprises. Simon’s professional repertoire includes senior roles in global, regional and local organisations, with a strong track record in managing teams and projects within fast-paced and complex environments. His specialisms span business planning, category management, trading, procurement, brand strategy, data analytics, research, coaching and mentoring. He is especially passionate about fostering growth and success among small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Simon’s qualifications include degrees and certifications from prestigious institutions like the University of Kent (UK), Cornell University (USA) and Northwestern University (USA). He serves as an Associate Tutor at the University of Anglia’s Norwich Business School and as an Accredited Mentor for the Help to Grow: Management Course. His exceptional mentoring was recognised in 2024 with the UK Excellence in Mentoring Award. Additionally, he holds ILM Level 5 certification in Effective Coaching and Mentoring. Beyond business, Simon dedicates his time to civic and social causes. He is a Non-Executive Director for Rippleacts CIC, a Trustee of Mid Norfolk Mencap and a Town Councillor for Attleborough, Norfolk.
