Steve Hill MBE is a truly inspirational figure whose impact spans education, philanthropy, and adventure. A primary school teacher for over 30 years, he has dedicated his life to empowering young people through experiential learning and service. Steve’s classroom extends far beyond the school gates — from organising daily outdoor learning sessions to taking students on inspiring community trips, he ignites curiosity and confidence in every pupil he teaches. Founder of the Team Hill Charitable Trust, Steve leads vital humanitarian work in Uganda, funding schools, medical care, and clean water projects. Each year, he personally visits the communities he supports, teaching in classrooms and delivering resources collected in the UK. His students actively participate in these efforts, learning about empathy and global citizenship. Known for his extreme charity challenges, Steve has run marathons through Mongolia, climbed volcanoes in Guatemala, and crossed jungles in Indonesia — all at his own expense and in service of others. With an MBE, several community awards, and a best-selling book to his name, Steve is a shining example of how one teacher can change the world — and inspire countless others to do the same.
