Steve Round

Steve Round is an award-winning international social banker who strives to create a fairer society through the development of inclusive financial services for those on low incomes. Launched in 2016, he is the founder and director of SaaScada, a software company that provides a cloud-based banking platform that enables financial institutions to offer their own inclusive banking products. Round is also chair of the Governing Board Forum of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values and a non-executive director of Centenary Bank, Uganda, and FinComEco, a platform for improving agriculture markets in third-world countries. Previously, Round held senior roles with London Rebuilding Society, Ecology Building Society, Unity Trust Bank, and the Big Issue Foundation, a charitable organisation for the homeless. He was the CEO of the Homeless World Cup Foundation, a charity that runs a football tournament for the homeless. Round won the title of Director of the Year at the UK Fintech Awards April 2024 for his contribution to financial services.
