Sujan Katuwal MBE is a successful businessman, running the Panas Gurkha Restaurant Group in South East London – serving up delicious, authentic, award-winning Nepalese cuisine to his customers.  He also devotes a large amount of his time to his charitable initiative Panas Helping Hands: he delivered over 250,000 free meals to the homeless, the NHS and other key workers during the COVID-19 Pandemic and beyond.  He has also completed a 3,000-mile Walking Challenge in support of Combat Stress, raising funds for veterans suffering from PTSD, as well as another 1,000-mile way for ex Gurkha servicemen.

He arranged social events and free meals for Ukrainian refugees coming to Britain to escape the conflict, and has raised many thousands of pounds for people affected by devastating floods in Pakistan and Bangladesh. His challenge for Combat Stress culminated in a Gala Dinner at the House of Lords, raising further funds for charity.  Awarded an MBE for services to the community in the King’s Birthday Honours 2025, Sujan is always looking for other ways to support vulnerable people and he will soon be embarking on more charitable initiatives to support the homeless and bring people together.
