Todd Fields

Todd Fields is a distinguished leader with over 12 years in corporate strategy and business development functions. He was handpicked to launch the formation and strategy of Boeing’s first corporate sustainability organisation. By spearheading these sustainability initiatives, Todd has had a transformative impact in forging innovation in aerospace engineering and driving strategic growth. Among the changes he has implemented, Todd has initiated the ecoDemonstrator programme (taking promising technologies out of laboratories and testing them in an operational environment) and promoted Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), positioning Boeing at the forefront of sustainable aviation innovation. Todd has been the architect of Boeing’s enterprise carbon management strategy, successfully getting C-Level approval to implement rebalancing of carbon mitigation, removal and offset approaches. Furthermore, he has orchestrated Boeing’s strategic entry into the US Navy technical services market, capturing a $100 million services contract and winning the Boeing Business Development Leadership Award. Todd’s visionary work has steered Boeing toward achieving its ambitious net-zero emissions goal by developing science-based targets and investing over $60 billion in sustainable technologies, resulting in 15-25% emission reductions across new airplane generations. With his proven expertise and steadfast commitment to sustainability, Todd continues to drive innovation and eco-friendly practices, ensuring Boeing is at the forefront of industry standards.
